How Often Should I Clean My Dishwasher Filter?

Depending on use, this should happen about once a month. A dirty filter will cause your dishes to not get as clean as possible. If the filter is dirty, it is unable to properly trap food waste, and it instead will redeposit on your dishes.
How Do I Clean My Dishwasher Filter?
If you have to manually clean your dishwasher filter, it is really simple. The filter is located on the bottom, inside of the dishwasher. The floor. You can even use an old toothbrush to help scrub it clean. Before you replace the filter, you will want to get a warm wet rag and wipe out the inner cylinder housing of the filter. It will be pretty gunked up in there, so wipe it really well. After that you can replace the filter.
